3.6M Americans may take up crypto payments by 2022
The crypto transactions will increase by 70% in 2022, as per the analysts.
As per a research firm, it is estimated that the number of adults in the United States using crypto to make purchases will increase to 3.6 million in 2022.
As per the report cryptos as a means of payment is bound to increase by 70% this year. The report also predicts that 3.6 million adults in the United States will use cryptos as a means of payment by the end of the year.
As per our experts, the growth of stablecoins usage has alleviated crypto’s volatility. More focus will be placed on crypto as a means of payment due to CBDCs development.
Like cards and digital wallets, more crypto options will be layered for completing transactions.The growth of crypto as a means of payments will surge due to these factors over the next few years.
Crypto users who are United States adults will increase by 33.7 million by the end of 2022 as the report continues. These numbers are sure to grow to further 37.2 million in 2023. However, the previous claims of the number of crypto users in the United States reaching 46 million in 2021 is significantly lower than the actual number in 2021.
As of now, as per another report, the number of crypto users in India, Brazil and Hong Kong have roughly doubled last year. Almost half the participants surveyed residents of these above-mentioned countries said that they started crypto investment in 2021.
As per a recently conducted poll, there are revelations on the number of Norwegian women holding crypto that doubled from 3% in 2021 to 6% in 2022. There was a significant increase from 6% in 2019 to 14% this year in male crypto owners.
